East Troy Town Hall
Tuesday April 9, 2013
7:00 pm

Following publication, the Lake Beulah Management District held its regular meeting at the East Troy Town Hall on Tuesday April 9, 2013.

Commissioners Present: Chairperson David Bitter, Stan Alger, Richard Dow, Val Johnson, John Becker, Rick Stacey
Absent:  Commissioner Doug Dorn (excused)
Also in Attendance: Mr. Robert Nauta, RJN Environmental Services, LLC
Lisa Sweet, Administrative Services
Riparian owners as noted in Sign in Log.

Chairman Bitter called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm.

Item #1: Roll Call
As noted above.

Item #2: Approve Regular Meeting Minutes of February 21, 2013
            The group took a moment to review the minutes to be approved. There were a few changes/corrections.  
            Page 3, 2nd paragraph: Chairperson Bitter was under the impression that the County could do repairs only.

            Page 6, 1st paragraph: Commissioner Becker suggested the Town of East Troy cover the cost.

A motion was made to approve the minutes with the changes.

Commissioner Rick Stacey made the motion to approve the minutes with the following adjustments from February 21, 2013, Commissioner Dick Dow seconded the motion and the motion passed unanimously.

KMLT - Advancing Conservation Survey PDF Print E-mail

As a supporter of the Kettle Moraine Land Trust, the LBMD would like to bring your attention to their Advancing Conservation initiative and survey.

As part of this project, KMLT has set up a short "Advancing Conservation Survey" to collect feedback from our community. Survey information will be used to prioritize conservation sites, environmental education and protection programs offered by the Kettle Moraine Land Trust.

Conservation efforts are more successful when several organizations who share at least one common goal, work together. Goals like ensuring clean water, protecting agriculture and open space, access to nature areas and maintaining important wildlife habitat are common to many municipalities and local organizations. These goals are also key elements found in thriving cities and rural areas of southern Wisconsin.
