The manufacturer of the most popular fire extinguishers on the market, are recalling about 40 years of product.  It is not a safety hazard by itself; but if people try to use them, there is a chance the activation handle may not operate properly.  The Kidde Corp will replace old extinguishers with brand new ones – for free.  Refer to the links below for further details.
